8,050 Students Sit for UI 2022/2023 Post-UTME

The admission quota of the University stands at 4,000.

Over 8000 admission seeking
students have been registered and scheduled to take part in the University of Ibadan Post- UTME for the 2022/2023 academic session.

The Post-UTME which is in form of a Computer Based Assessment began today, Monday, 20 February 2023, at the University’s Distance Learning Centre, Ajibode, and will last for two days.

According to reports, 8,050 students are expected to participate in the exercise as the admission quota of the University stands at 4,000.

Today’s examinations which were for students in the humanities occurred in 3 shifts at 1,200 in each, while students in the sciences will be examined in 4 shifts on Tuesday.

However, the examination was reportedly peaceful as parents and guardians who came along with their children/wards were seen waiting patiently around the premises.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kayode Adebowale, among other academic officials during a supervision exercise commended the organizers for all their efforts as well as the candidates for conducting themselves appropriately.

The Post-UTME students’ are vying for admission into sixteen Faculties of the university’s undergraduate programme for the 2022/2023 academic session.
