7.2 Million Businesses Have Closed Down Under Tinubu’s Watch– Sowore

Nigerian human rights activist and politician Omoyele Sowore has berrated President Bola Tinubu over his style of governance as far as the nation’s economy is concerned.
Tagging him a terrible president with a supporting picture on X, Sowore declares that 7.2 million businesses have closed down since Mr. President assumed power.
Sowore’s emphasis seems to have followed the assertion of a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Lagos based Corper, Ushie Uguamaye who on her TikTok account, talktoraye, on Saturday, stated that President, Tinubu is ‘terrible’ in governance.
The lady in another viral video said,
her opinion about President Tinubu’s governance was greeted with a backlash from the NYSC who asked her to bring down the post.

Reacting, the activist politician in a post had drummed solidarity for the lady.
He wrote; “We are with you all the way; if the @officialnyscng tries anything funny to intimidate, harass, or victimize, we will Ma
March on them with utmost resistance!
Revolution Now!”
Speaking further on the subject of ‘Tinubu being terrible’ Sowore said Tinubu has ruined Nigeria’s economy, emphasized that 7.2 million businesses have closed down since assuming power.
Thereby, accusing Tinubu of presenting bad economic policies that are endangering the naira.
“Mr. Tinubu has ruined the Nigerian economy, with 7.2 million businesses closed since he brought his bad economics to hunt down and kill the Naira, inflation at its worst, no jobs, no food, wages/salaries can’t last most workers a week.
“Food prices, rent, medication, energy tariffs, telecoms, and tariffs are damn unaffordable- this man came to finish Nigeria.
“Nigerians must recognize this, rise, and fight back very strongly. We have NO time! #TinubuIsaTerriblePresident #RevolutionNow.” He wrote.
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has also publicly expressed support for Uguamaye , also known as Raye, by admiring her stance and boldness.
