A 45-year-old man, Ojo Akerele, has been arrested in the Idoani community, the Ose Local Government Area of Ondo state, for allegedly defiling a 10-year-old girl.
The incident was confirmed to
newsmen in Akure by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Funmi Odunlami, while parading the suspect.
Mrs. Odunlami stated that the victim was lured to an uncompleted building by the suspect where he had carnal knowledge of her after giving her N100.
She said the suspect would be charged in court after the investigation.
