2023 Polls: Atiku Support Group Urges Electorates to be Eagle-eyed

“…we can’t test waters at this momentous time when God has given us Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to save Nigeria’s ship from the rapids” -Adebisi.

The State co-ordinator of the Atiku Support Group, Otunba Babatunde Adesokan made a clarion call to the electorates to assess the presidential candidates based on their track records in governance.

In a press release made available to members of the press on Wednesday, at the maiden meeting of the Atiku Haske Organisation, Oyo state chapter (AHO) -a support group with the focus of mobilising Oyo state voters for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar Presidential bid.

He emphasized that Nigeria is in dire need of a strong leader and so, voters should vote in a strong leader capable of  taking the country out of hardship.

“…Our people are tired of being in the wilderness they are presently engulfed in and the only way to sprint out of the miasma is to make a right choice of a knowledgeable President with proven track records”

Otunba Adesokan also affirmed that Nigerians can no longer be bought based on tribalism. “our people can’t be no longer careened into voting  based on tribal sentiments at this defeated age”. He maintained that “competence, verve and vigour are needed to steer the ship of the nation and that should be our watchwords”.

Reacting to this, the group’s spokesperson, Alhaji Adebisi Waheed declared that the local coordinators are specifically saddled with the task as rallying points for the 33 LGs in the State; also stating that time is of essence

“We can’t reshape the edges at this crucial period to fit in the square peg in a round role ,we can’t test waters at this momentous time when God has given us Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to save Nigeria’s ship from the rapids” Adebisi said.

The group vowed to ensure that the people of Oyo State are not cajoled by the old tricks of the political scammers in 2023 elections.
