The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi has broken his silence after the declaration of the All Progressive Congress presidential candidate Bola Ahmed – Tinubu as Nigeria’s President -Elect.

Recall, Prof. Mamood Yakubu, chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had earlier declared Tinubu as the winner of the 2023 Presidential election after defeating his major contenders, Peter Obi of the Labour Party(LP) and Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP)

The former Anambra governor, Peter Obi who has now reacted through his Twitter page, said he would address Nigerians and members of the International community soon as his Vice Presidential candidate Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed is currently hosting an international press conference in Abuja.

He said; “Our Vice- presidential candidate Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed is addressing an international press conference at the Labour Party Headquarters in Abuja. I intend to address Nigerians and the international community shortly.”-PO

Meanwhile, Bola Ahmed -Tinubu is scheduled to receive the certificate of return by 3:00pm today in Abuja.
