President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the winner of the just concluded presidential election, Bola Tinubu, saying that he is the best man for the job.
Buhari stated that the New Nigerian President, Asiwaju Bola- Ahmed Tinubu was elected by the people and he is prepared to work with him and his team.
Earlier, this morning, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the 2023 Presidential election after defeating his major opponents, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
Buhari, in his congratulatory message, said;
“I congratulate His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory. Elected by the people, he is the best person for the job. I shall now work with him and his team to ensure an orderly handover of power.”
