2023 AFCON: ‘Ginger O Porrr’- CAF Hypes Osimhen on Thrilling Victories
Nigerian professional footballer and striker for the Nigeria national team
in the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, Victor Osimhen has been celebrated by the Confederation of African Football, CAF.
CAF, while posting a video of the Napoli star’s celebration after Nigeria’s first goal described Osimhen as the Lion of Africa.
Celebrating the football star’s resilience and goal-getting spirit,
CAF wrote on its official X handle;
“Lion of Africa no gree for anybody! Ginger o porrr! No retreat, no surrender.”
Recall, The Pendulum Media reports that Nigeria defeated Cameroon 2-0 in their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 clash on Saturday.
Ademola Lookman was the star of the show, scoring twice as the Super Eagles won over the Indomitable Lions.
Nigeria is preparing to play Angola who had earlier beaten Namibia 3-0 in the quarter-final of the competition.
