
120 individuals suspected of internet fraud have been put behind bars by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Lagos.
A statement posted on Monday via the official X handle of the commission revealed the development.
According to the statement , operatives from the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 carried out the coordinated operation across various locations in the state.
The operation led to the recovery of 26 exotic vehicles, alongside luxury jewelry, mobile phones, laptops, and several incriminating documents.
The anti-graft agency noted that all suspects which included 95 males and 25 females are currently undergoing further investigation and will be charged in court upon the conclusion of the investigative process.
